"Ponto" 2000 Ebony Vehicross

Besides the Snap Orange beetle we have "Ponto", named after Ponto Beach which was the first place we drove him to after flying into San Diego to buy. 3.5L full time AWD Isuzu Vehicross with 75,000 miles on the OD. The VX over the last 4 years has been a great vehicle and get lots of attention. I do have to say I have been bit by the beetle bug since we bought the 2002 beetle and might sell Ponto to get a Turbo S.

I always liked the Vehicross. The front reminds me of a stingray' head.
Of course I used to drive an Aztec so have a soft spot for "odd" vehicles!

It's different and that's what I like about it.

I saw the roadster ItalDesign version VX-02 on "Mission to Mars" movie.

Yea, i'm going back and forth on selling it. It's a gas guzzler, but it's a blast to drive. I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic the other day and had conversations with 4 other drivers asking about the VX. The thing about the NB's is how they drive, it's like being in a go cart. The Turbo S would be like a really fast go cart.....
