Default my sons "rides"

wasn't sure if this was the right place to put these as one of them is technically a new beetle

day it was brought home

de stickered

seat painted black

its currently stripped down so I can make it even less pink..going to be a two tone between gloss black and matte black on the hood(only colors I have right now lol) once he is better driving it im going to add dual motors/gearboxes and bump it up to 12V

I've been on the lookout for the car below for more than 2 years(pretty much since we found out we were having a boy) Located it with the help of a guy on Modified Power Wheels Information out in st louis. My dad picked it up and its currently residing in his garage until I can scrape up money to get it shipped..Plan for this car is to make it my 65's mini me(de sticker it, lower it, beer tap shifter)

his dune turned out so awesome! thanks for pointing that out..

its a pain trying to modify these things living in an apartment complex..they don't like me painting on the porch..hasn't stopped me from doing it but they still dont like it

just painted the center caps on the new beetle and marked it up to get it lowered..the new beetle will hopefully be the recipient of an adjustable suspension soon..it will either be air ride or a type of coil over(manually adjust) I have found a compressor and lines that would fit in the car but haven't found a suitable bag set up yet

the white car is more for me than him..he'll drive it but its going to be riding on my roof rack for shows and things of that sort

I'll have to see about doing roswell next year..I just got the OK to do Wuste fest next year..not sure if i'll be able to pull off two trips

i'll get video up if/when i pull off the air ride...ive been on modifiedpowerwheels for about 2 years now and there has been alot of talk about air ride/hydraulics(mostly instigated by me lol) but I've been really strapped for cash so its been put on hold

i do have everything marked up to cut for a hard slam..just have to get time

PLAN CHANGE!!

found these sawblades for cheap on modifiedpowerwheels.com and jumped on them...didn't realize that they were HUGE

the fronts fit as long as you don't want to go forward or turn and the rears will fit if I remove the driver hub and all of the spacers that are on the car as it sits..Going to have to do alot of cutting but the kids nb will be sitting on sawblades in the near future...all of the pink is going to be a candy red as well..just need time to do it

thought it was funny and worth an update
