Warren's Wascally Wabbit...a 2007 Candy White Rabbit..."Bugsy" for now

well...i'm seriously behind getting pics posted.

here's my new daily driver (at least for a few months, could be for a long time). i really like this car.

for the background, my daughter Ali's been driving my Dad's old Grand Prix the last 5 years...phantom electrical problems keep piling on, and I decided to put Ali in Ikiane for a while...at least until she and Josh decide what kind of "new" car they really want.

i was looking at 2002-04 Turbo Ss and newer GLS/GLX beetles, when this Rabbit popped up on Craigslist...took a look.

after a few twists and turns, i bought Grace, a base Rabbit (with alloys) three weeks ago...

a little < 30,000 miles, a price i couldn't walk away from, and <gasp> a WARRANTY.

Anyway, here's Grace.

I've always wanted a new rabbit. I would put a magnaflow exhaust on and drive it for what it's worth haha then again I am young and loud and enjoy my cars that way too hehe Great find buddy

thanks for the nice words. depending on when ali buys a car, this one might be my driver for ToD 2k11...if so, i'll be happy to hang in the back of the pack again with bob and susie.

al, i've also been thinking naming the rabbit grace...kinda goes well with marilyn.

thanks guys. Al, i think i might be able to find someone 'round these parts to do just that. bahahahaha.

btw, i am taking a page out of the Debbie Nye handbook for the Rabbit...other than mudflaps, and maybe some tint....this one's gonna be staying stock...unless i can figure out a way to add heated seats.

i'll still have the NB, but i'm really enjoying the Rabbit as a DD. :-)

Gracie stayed in the family, though...her new owners are daughter Alison & husband, Josh.

hmmm. so, I have Iki back as a daily driver for a while...wonder what the next DD will be?
