Got junk in the trunk, lol, looks noice!

Glad "Heinrich" found himself a bonified Vdubber to bring him back to life.

The orange is so vibrant, keep the orange!

Make sure you get that fresh air vent covered up so your "front" trunk doesn't flood, until you install the router piece.

so the car is basically all planed out. no bumpers or trim (german look), drop spindles in front and hopefully air ride in back to bring the car down 4-4.5 inches, black stinger exhaust (with the possibility of a flame thrower in it.......I have to much time to think about this stiff at work), and possibly 67 or earlier tail lights. if I cant do those tail lights I will probably do the euro red/amber tails instead of the standard (for us in the u.s) white/red. paint graphics are still in the works. but it will still be the same color, and have the number on the hood.

ok time to update ya'll on the super beetle. 2 weeks ago I got the engine torn apart adn all is good, head work is all that is needed Last night before I went to bed I cruised on over to thesamba.com classifieds and stumbled upon a single Dellorto DLRS 40 and got it for $330 shipped soon I need to bring the bug itself indoors so I can start tearing apart the breaking system and replace what needs to be replaced there.

so I re-installed the heads today along with my new valve covers. unfortunetly when I went to put the fuel pump back on I noticed the fuel pump flange was busted when I took that off. that would explain why there was gas in the oil when I drained it, and one of the reasons why it ran like crap in the car it used to be in. I will be ordering a new flange on wednesday (pay day) and will resume assembly soon (next to weekends are busy).

Only a couple of days until you show off Heinrich, and no updates here? Let's see some pics, Scott! Good look at the show this weekend and safe travels.

sorry for no updates lately. It's been very busy what with casey moving here and me getting my own place and all. alot of progress has been made with the car, but unfortunetly it will not be making it to eurowerks. I have to redo the brakes and put the engine in the car. after that all I have to do is install the lights and other electrical components. I'll try to get pics up when I get back from the show.
