So I lost my beetle a couple years back and was sharing a car with my (ex)wife. She moved 1700 miles away and I had to pick up a car. This was listed on Craigslist for 2 and I walked away with it for 1200. Car didn't run and I ended up towing it(with the tdi) to a local shop who got me running

I have 2300 total into this car now and its done a complete 180 from when I bought it

RXII's were a impulse buy but I have 2 sets and love them. Getting spacers for the rear this week so that I can get them sitting properly and get the rear of the car dropped to an acceptable height.

Interior was swapped for sport plaid seats, have a drivers edition(black leather with red stitching) steering wheel and mk4 shift knob with drivers edition boot, radio delete plate and the car is more or less done

it gets timing chains and clutch soon and im going to be going 'all in' with it in the future...soon as I get a daily driver

getting spacers this week! 5 mm for the fronts and getting 15s and 20s for the rear...not sure how they'll sit with 20s and no fender roll so getting the 15s as well.

need the 5s up front when I get my new brakes as the caliper will hit otherwise
