This is my "summer/road trip" car on a trip to Oregon last summer. I don't drive her in bad weather. She's spoiled.

And this was my "winter car". A 1980 Subaru Brat. I purchased it for $600 and took it from this:

My nephew and I did most of the body work, except the paint.
I did a lot of long neglected maintenance on the engine and brakes and whatnot. I love getting my hands dirty and greasy. Have always like working on cars. Used to help my Dad a lot and learned a lot from him.
Had the BRAT for about 5 years, got old and lazy and didn't want to do the work to keep it up amymore, and sold it because I wanted to get back in a New Beetle, and bought my DaZee.
