Beautiful! Growing up, I helped my dad restore a 1967 Mustang Coupe and a 1966 GT350H Fastback (Hertz Shelby Mustang).

Baby was a wreck when I got her. She was sitting in the calif desert. My boyfriend at the time gave her to me and rebuilt the engine. After the break up he wanted her back but I said no way, I put way too much money into her. When I got married, my hubby painted her signalflare red and then in 1998 she got a total restoration and returned to the original springtime yellow. I was tempted to get a mellow yellow vert to match but thought maybe that was too much?? hehe.

I love that Shelby. Ford is coming out with a new Hertz mustang, I saw a pic somewhere maybe some Ford literature that came in the mail the other day.

Oh wow you live in Martinez too?? I swear I've seen your mustang! Especially if you've ever brought her to the mustang meet ups around town. Beautiful car!

I have seen another one just like mine. We rarely drive it anymore, just stays in the garage. The brake lights quit working and my husband hasn't had time to fix it. I have been wanting to check out the mustang club here.

I didn't know you had a 66 Mustang!! I'm jealous!!! And is that a #88 DJ front license plate I see on her as well??

Shoot, how far is Martinez, GA from Atlanta? I fixed the tail light/brake light issues on my 77 Mustang II, I'm sure I could take a look and see if maybe it's as simple as one bad socket or something. I miss my Mustang II. And I've always loved 60's Model Mustangs...then again...who doesn't? lol

Wait til the weather warms up and take her for a nice drive. I sure would have a hard time choosing who gets driven more often, cause nothing compares to that great muscle car engine...that rumble sound when you accelerate, and well...it's a 60's Mustang....love it.

It's about a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive (or shorter if you speed like me ^_^; ) The Mustang club here meets up every first Thursday of the month. The next meeting is where I work

I miss driving around in Mustangs, I need to get myself one instead of always driving my friends' whenever I can
