Bump Noise from front 01/2.0

When I first drive it after it has been sitting overnight, every bump I hit in the road seems to cause a bumping sound up front. It goes away in a few minutes. The rest of the day when I drive it, no bump. But next am it's back.?????????????????
Any ideas?

Have your Mcferson struts inspected, esp. the top mounts and all the associated suspension assemblies. A rubber mount or bushing just needs to be tightened, lubricated or replaced.
