Default Is the CV axle and the Front Axle Assembly one in the same.

How ya durrin?

Quick question. 'Cup needs a new (dealer-speak) CV Axle assembly. Fine, this will solve the problem. To fix this for the part alone it's 425.00. However ECS Tuning has a FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY. This part is 109.00 What I want to know is are these items one and the same. I've been trying to call ECS, but there was major technical problems in the phone system and when I finally got through...CLOSED. Please help. Once again...

Are the CV Axle and the Front Axle Assembly one and the same.

I sure hope so. I just might save a couple hundred bucks.

Thanks gang

Hey 'Chop,

You've got to be kidding me. SERIOUS. Wish you had MSN Messager. We'd chat for a bit. I take it you found this out from first experience??? I'll be going there tomorrow. You've made my night, and saved me 200.00 bucks. Now I can fix 'Cups A/C, buy my new digi-camera and suprise my wife with a new laptop. Life is good Not all of this with 200.00, but it does give me more cushion to reach my objectives.
