Dont be alarmed. I had my Brake Light Sensor go after I had my used new beetle for about two weeks... I was frustrated like you.

But now that its fixed... things are great.. and I LITERALLY have had not one other issue in my six months of NB ownership.

I hope that makes you feel a little better. I think most of us have dealt with that EPC light at some point.

I hope I helps slightly ease your frustration.

PS: This brake light is going to be a recall of a recall, your dealership will prob. mention that to you. (we have a few threads discussing it here on org.)

Hope that helps as well.

Thanks, yeah I know that I am probably over reacting..I really dig the car,and hope that it treats me well..It a lot of fun to drive, especially the reactions on peoples faces with the cyber green! lol And then when you open the door, and they see the green seats!!!Also, got a laugh the other day, watched the face on some dodo riding my A$$,when we hit 45mph and the spoiler deployed!! lol That was priceless!!!

I had my brake light sensor go out on me literally a week after I got it. The dealership even called to see how i liked the car that same day :P
Its a big deal when it happened because I was terrified I had done something to the transmission (im not known for my luck with cars )
Anyways Im glad everything was under warranty and its all fixed
