Are you trying to put in some kind of an aftermarket tail or replace a bulb?

Unless you got the proper tail for an '06 (I don't know if there is a replacement tail or a replacement backup light), I'm not sure there is a way to do it unless you use a red LED like what Fowvay did. The wiring would be the same (same switch, run a wire to the back and tap into the proper wire). I wrote one of the how-to's for 98-05, but I have not looked at the '06.
Are you trying to remove the tail light or the back up light?
