Electrical problem? Miniature stall...

I was driving down the street today in the misting rain, and all of a sudden my NB did a miniature stall - the whole electrical system shut down and then came back on in the space of a second or so. During that time, the CD player went dead, my lights went out, and the a/c went out. When everything came back on, the car beeped on and off about 4-5 times, accompanied by the check engine light and the airbag light.
The whole thing happened again about 30 seconds later, with the same beeping afterwards, though this time the beeping lasted longer (30 seconds?).
I pulled over and checked the battery cables, which were fine. I jiggled them a bit, but really they looked good, free of corrosion.
I got back in, and everything was fine!
My question is: Is this something I need to worry about?

It is remotely possible that the moisture content could have bridged one of the fusable links located atop the battery case inside the small box. Usually, this area stays plenty warm enough to stay pretty dry...
I would only worry if this repeats itself, and then to the dealer I would go.. JK
