Default Dashboard Light - HELP

Hey Guys, Accept my apologies is I am posting to the wrong section. I am new to this forum.

In the last few days, the back light around my radio STAYS ON. Even when the ignition and headlight are off.

My guess is, I need to have a specialist check it out (Oh No! not the dealer!!! ) but anyway, does one know if there is a fuse i can unplug, to safe my battery?

Is the radio still operational, or just the lights?

Radio is fine. The only problem is the fact that the light around the radio stay on. It is really weird

sounds like the illumiation lead is shorted somewhere

although that also doesnt make sense cuz if it was, it might leave all the dash lights on. sounds like it's somthing shorted on the radio's internals

Wouldn't surprise me...a constant source providing power to one which should be switched.
