Default Electrical Challenges

I'm facing several annoyances:
1. When the the low fuel light pops on it used to beep, not anymore.
2. The seatbelt light in the instrument pod doesn't stay lit when I drive without the seatbelt on. I do use my seatbelt.
3. The driver's side heated seat, doesn't anymore. It gave me a shock in my hamstring last year and stopped heating.

Has anyone faced any of these and what did you do? I'm addicted to my hotrod and I'm lucky this is all I have to deal with, for the moment anyway.

Later, Rich

The low fuel light ...
There's a speaker in the instrument cluster. Sounds like it's broken. Will cost you a new cluster. Forget it if you can. That's what I'm livin' through.

Not having the same problems w/that other stuff...

Sounds like your seat heaters might have shorted out; I dunno how involved that is...

No idea on the seatbelt thing either; sorry.

The seatbelt light should only be on for a few seconds after you start the car, then it goes out regardless if you put it on or not. Keeping that light on would be severly annoying for some people.

Thanks for the info. It would be nice to have a warm place to sit again...
