Hello- I have a 2001 NB 1.8 turbo.
My car had a p1340 camshaft/crankshaft sensor out of alignment code, so I took it to the dealer for diagnosis. their notes say "found cam sensor not plugged in but the connector is not to be found in the engine wiring harness." they recomended a new engine wiring harness at $500. with labor it would be $1500. So where is the cam sensor located? and couldn't I just buy a new connector to connect the cam sensor to the engine wiring harness? Also what does the cam sensor look like? also where is the engine wiring harness located? Any pics would be awesome! Thanks so much for your help! -Megan |
