Girlfriend just picked up a 99 New Beetle and there seems to be an idle issue. When the car first starts the idle is very low and engine cuts out. This will happen a few times unless a little gas is applied. After a few mins the car will idle without cutting out but the idle wavers quite a bit.
I have read a couple of posts that talk about the throttle body losing calibration if the battery dies. Anyone have any more information on this/advice on what to do? |
