Service - Upstate NY

Hi,

I'm looking for a good service station or dealer in upstate New York, or even Connecticut. I have heard bad things about the service in the dealer near us in Wappingers Falls, NY so I don't want to go there.

I have had my NB for almost 2 years, and she went to the dealer only once in an emergency situation - nowhere near my house. My hubby does most of the routine work for me.

I'm having problems with my CEL light (supposedly my CAM Sensor needs to be replaced) and now I think there's a short somewhere. I can't go 24 hours without jumping her. I have a new GEL battery in, so the battery is ok, but something is killing it. It has been cold so I'm sure that's making the problem worse. But she needs to get checked out!

Can anyone suggest a good, reliable service station or dealer nearby me? She can still drive and I don't drive to work so I'm willing to travel a bit for good service.

Sorry for your troubles---I am currently trying to solve the mystery of my lit CEL as well.

I can't help you with a dealer,(new to the area) but I will be watching this thread to see if anyone comes up with any suggestions.



PS-- there are a couple of resturants I want to check out in Beacon as well as that natural food store very soon.
