Blinking Red Temp Light
 Twice in the last 2 weeks after the car has been sitting at least 6 hours I have start it and after about a minute I get a red flashing temp indicator and beep on the dash panel.I have turned the car off and restarted it a all is normal. I am bringing the car in next week for yearly inspection. Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this.

Is your temp sensor black? If so, it needs to be replaced with a new one. About $5 from the dealer.
