For those of you who have the cream interior/top: How hard is it to keep the cream top clean and how does the interior hold up? My bug has the gray interior, which I love; but I'm thinking about getting the cream on the new one. Being a mom, I worry about how things like that! I don't want to do the black interior (down here that would be AWFUL in the summer!) The color combos I'm thinking about are: red & cream; laser blue & gray; platinum gray & gray; or mellow yellow & cream. Anything else y'all can think of to help me make my decision would be great!

The answer depends on who will be driving and riding in the car, and if you have a garage to keep it in. If you are hauling around a lot of sloppy people, then don't get the cream interior. I had a Mustang GT convert., with a white top and white interior. My wife and I were the only ones that drove it and I kept it in the garage. It was never a problem to keep clean. I would NOT get a light top if you are keeping the car outside a lot, especially under trees.
One more thing: The direct Alabama sun will fade a black top also.
Hope this helps and happy shopping.
