Default Electrical Gremlins - Headlight and Radiator Fan

Okay the electrical gremlins have raised their green warty fingers and cursed my car (99 1.8t) in the last few weeks...

Driver's side headlight stopped working: I replaced the bulb, and checked the fuses, and it still will not light up.

Radiator Fan: Under the dash on the drivers side I heard this strange sound of electricity arching, kind of like the sound of a hard drive on a computer working, and the radiator fan turned off and on along with the sound. Now, the fan runs almost constantly.

Drivers side door lock: When arming the alarm, the drivers side door will not lock the first time (passenger side works fine). The only way to make the driver's side work is press the unlock button, then the lock button.

Shocking: When getting out of the car I frequently get static shock. I dont know if it's just my uniform causing static or if there is a bad connection somewhere.

Any help is greatly appreciated....The dealer is going to rape me to fix all of these.

For the headlight, check the ground connection. Better yet, check the connector that goes to the base of the lamp.
The sound from under the dash most likely is a relay.
The door issue might be the micro switch inside the door.
For the static, try using an anti-static fabric spray on the seat cushions.

Great! Thanks! I'll check it out tomorrow...
