Passenger Side front singal light goes nuts

I've got a 2002 Luna, with a blinker problem. I can't seem to find any topics related to this issue, so I hope that some of you guys can help me out.

My passenger side blinker went out a few months back and I replaced it, however, even though it works, it blinks rapidly, and often, when I'm not even signaling, the "clicking" sound remains, or sometimes randomly starts up and stops.

Can anyone give me some insight into this? Is this an easily fixable issue? I'd like to know more before going to the dealership so that I don't get hosed by the techs.

Check my signature for the fix. I think it's your hazard switch. Tribangle helped me do it all by myself.

oh man i have that same problem...it went out and every time my dad trys to fix it it stops blinking rapidly... I think it might be the wires but idk anything about that stuff.
