P0133 & P1196 codes Need advice!!!
The other day my car started to stall out at a stand still... The check engine ICON came on and set off a P0133 Oxygen sensor circuit slow response ( pre- converter sensor) and P1196 code Oxygen sensor heater electrical malfuction ( pre-convertor sensor) OK. so I repaced the pre- convertor O2 sensor and reset the car... I took it for a test drive and the car set off another check engine light. This time just the P1196 code, Heater electrical malfuction pre- convertor. And the car is trying to stall out again. If I reset? It comes back again P1196 code. What can I do to fix this code issue?!?! Or could it be, a BAD O2 sensor??? Thanks in advance for the help. My car is up 4 sale and this is the only issue I have with it............."HAPPY 4TH of JULY".........

Could be a bad heating element in the new O2 sensor ... but first check your wiring, make sure none of the wires in that harness are broken or grounding out.
