Talking Rear view mirror buzzes

The rear view mirror on my 04 Beetle buzzes annoyingly from road vibration at 25-40mph give or take. I've tried all sorts of solutions without much success.
Any suggestions?

If its the glass vibrating within the plastic outer shell then I'd stick some Blu-Tak on one edge between the glass and the plastic to dampen the vibrations. If Blu-Tak isn't sold in your country then chewing gum should do.
If it's the whole mirror and plastic outer shell thats vibrating (which it shouldn't) then try wrapping something solid and heavy around the post that attaches the mirror to the roof - maybe wire solder, copper wire or something to wrap around the post - this will dampen the vibrations.
Good Luck.

Mine does this too! I was starting to think I was the only one with this problem. I figured out that it's the light underneath the mirror. When I touch it and give it pressure, it stops the noise. I haven't tried anything yet, but maybe just putting a piece of tape would help? Let me know if you figure something out.

Clear tape sounds like a very simple answer.
