battery group #
I am thinking my battery is 5 years old in october,probably should change it before the cold weather gets here..can't get a straight answer as to what group size my 2003 1.8t takes,some list a 47,some a 48..I really don't feel like pulling the old battery and check ,then have to put back in just to do it all over again with the new battery..the dealer just has the vw # of course!

I know the exide orbital extreme deep cycle battery fits in. but i dont know what size number it is.
i just googled and it's in group 34. or is just a little teeny bit bigger than a group 34.
