Default Headlight internal lens issue ???

Greetings all,

Just happened to notice a difference in the brightness of my headlights during this morning's drive. The internal lens/reflector(for lack of a better word) on the driver's side headlight does not reflect/shine as bright as the passenger side. Actually, it doesn't look like it reflects/shines at all. Both bulbs are working properly on the driver's and passenger side. No difference in brightness occurs in the lens/reflector when the high-beams are engaged. Any one know what this is, if its a problem, and if it should be addressed? Maybe the bulb is just going dead. I've purchased the car almost a year ago and haven't noticed this issue until now. See the photos attached for a specific location and look of the difference in the lens/reflector area I am speaking of. The photos are were taken when the headlights are at the normal level (not high-beams) Thanks!

is the lense in there? is the bulb seated all the way? pop it out and take a look, about the best way to tell.

I believe its to prevent your left headlights from blinding/glaring oncoming traffic
I could be wrong, but im pretty sure thats why.

The low-beam uses the projector lens, it assist in forming a brighter, longer-projecting beam.

It looks like something is wrong to me. Something's out of alignment, maybe a plastic tab broke/melted, or something isn't snapped into place properly.
