Default Question about trunk opening on 07 vert.

When I open the trunk, it pops loose...but only about a half-inch or less. Is it supposed to open on up? It's really hard to get my fingertips into the tiny gap to open it, and it's scratching the paint there. Is this normal, and does anyone have a suggestion on any sort of fix?

Thanks.

Have the dealer adjust it.

I guess what I was asking is....Is the trunk lid on the vert suppose to swing open on its own after triggering the switch??

Wow.....You'd think that they would put a gas piston or at least a handle on there to lift it up!

Thanks, guys.

Pull up slowly too, I've already broken two struts.

Thanks....I can see how that could happen. I just wish that they had put a piston that would completely open the lid.
