Default Front dash speakers and tweeters stopped working

Figured I throw a post up to see if anyone has any ideas. My dash speakers and tweeters in the A-pillars stopped working suddenly on Sunday. I took BeBe to the car wash as usual, everything was fine. I removed the detachable face from the head unit (Alpine) and then when I put the face back on after the wash was done, I noticed no sound coming from the dash speakers or tweeters. The door and rear speakers work fine. I've had the Alpine head unit in for about 6 months now. My husband installed it, and he used to be a professional audio guru back in the day.

Thought I'd see if anyone had any input before we go tearing the dash apart. I also DO NOT want to have to drag her back to the dealer for this either.

Thanks in advance for any help

Cool

Check the detachable faceplate for lint etc. that may be interfering with the contacts. Also check the corresponding contact on the head-unit to see if something foreign is blocking that connection...

Negatory on lint/obstructions. My door speakers still work, just the other 2 front sets are out. I hope this isn't the beginning of a long list of electrical problems waiting to happen
