Windshield Wiper Noise
I am having a few problems with my 98 NB. Recently on a fiarly long road trip my wipers started to squeal. Not due to a dry windsheild but due to something else. I have tried to open up where the wipers live but I don't want to muck about and break and thing. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and if so what did you do to fix it.

I don't know what you would define as a "squeal" but my sister has an '04 NB that made a whining noise when the wipers were on. She's only had it for a year and it turns out she needed a new wiper motor. We took it to a dealer for some warranty work and that was their diagnosis. Could be your probelm, but I'm no beetle expert.
