Talking Fuse Card

I know my fuse card does not provide much info other than the number of the fuse and then an icon that you are supposed to decipher. However, on another vw site forum site, I found this handy diagram. It is pretty much standard and I hope that it can help y'all.

Excellent! Is that the one out of the owner's manual?

The only problem I've ever had with it is looking at amp ratings instead of fuse location. That's been a problem a couple of times, but it's all my fault.

Thanks for posting! I know there are people out there asking about this every once in a while.

Cool New Beetle fuse card

Thanks so much for posting this diagram. My fuse ID card was missing when I purchased my used beetle and a headlight just went out last week. . .

Fuse locations actually were changed after May 2003, which means '98-'03, and '04-'10. When I get a chance, I'll post up both versions, along with the battery fuse box, and the relay panels which also contain a couple fuses. And I'll do it in a printable .pdf doc file for easy printing and/or saving to your computer file.
