Default Horn dead, but alarm works. :(

My 2001 NB horn has stopped working when depressed on the steering wheel, but it still works fine when locking the car, and the alarm works fine.

I checked the fuse, and it's good as well. When I put my ear up to the fuse box, and press the steering wheel, I hear a clicking sound, which I assume is the relay, so I assume it's working. But why would the alarm work?

Anyone have any insight?

EDIT: Ok, I've been reading a few more horn threads, and I just came across a thread saying there's a different horn for the alarm. I've been going through the Hayes Repair Manual for the NB, and it only mentions the two horns in the whole book. So this is where I'm confused. Three horns...is that correct?

There is one for the alarm and 1 or 2 for the horn.

Where is the alarm one? There are two under the left front bumper, a high tone and a low tone. My horn (low tone) fails intermitently but for the alarm it always toots. I don't think there is a specific alarm horn, it just uses the low tone horn. They are very accessible under the drivers side bumper. If you find another horn let me know.

Yea, that's about what happens to me, except it's both tones. And it's dead 95% of the time, but works sometimes.

On my 2003 i found the alarm horn tucked up in the cowl makes sense to have a second horn tucked away so the wires cant be cut to shut the alarm up

I just panicked my alarm, and yes, that's the exact area the alarm sound came from.

So, proof of third one...guess that means that my normal horns really are blown (or a wiring problem, since they work sometimes). *sigh*
