Default Dilemma, What to do?

I have a 99 2.0. My stepdaughter crashed it a couple of weeks ago. Shoved the front end over. Do not have collision coverage. A friend at a body shop said they can pull it for about $500. Will still need new bumper, grill, hood, fenders core support. headlights, fog lights, etc. Should I fix it? Find another car to put the motor in? or just let it die? If I look for something else, what models and years will the motor fit? Anybody in central Indiana got anything to sell? I'm in the Bloomington/ Bedford area.

I guess that depends on how much you want to invest in it. Now considering the front end damage, you could go for a body kit, which is always a good upgrade. now if you have a salvage yard with new beetles at your disposal, you can save you some cash too. Some things to consider. Also, i'd fill out your user profile info. There might be someone in your area that can be a big help to you.

A pic of the damage would be helpful.
