2006+ NB headlight replacement?

I've searched everywhere and cant find a DIY for a 2006 NBC headlight replacement.

All of the links refer back to the previous generation headlight replacement and that does not even come close to applying to the 2006+ cars

If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate it. I found the hex head release screw, but the headlight still will not pop out.

Hi.
I had the same problem. Be patient. There is a DIY for this on the site, but I do not remember the thread title.

However, because my memory is going, I made a copy of the directions. The thread has pictures, but my copy does not. Thanks to whomever I swiped this from.

Here it is. Hope it helps.

Tools used 5mm 1/4" drive socket with a 8" extension
Passenger side
1. Find the locking bar head just under the first fender bolt. There will be a lock/unlock graphic in front of it. Turn it clockwise until it stops. Photos 2, 3 and 4.

2. Using your extension push down saftey catch tab (stamped stainless steel with an X on it). Photo 5. While holding tab down push head light out from behind. Make sure you hold your leg in front of headlight so it does not jump out onto floor. It comes out really easy.

3. Change bulb and reinstall.

4. Relock the lock bar and close hood.

I replaced the passenger side a couple of months ago after much aggrevation. Now the driver's side is burned out. I tried today, but found that the lever, which I believe is below the locking device, doesn't seem to release anything. Anyone have an idea where the release lever is? Or if it is the metal thing below the locking device, which way do you move it?
