Default Comfort Module

Nothing show up when I type Comfort Module in to the search!? Is it possible that I am the only one with the thing busted?

Long story short, I was padding drivers doors with FatMat, and after disconnecting door module, window motor and other stuff, there is a list of things not working any more.
-trunk switch
-mirror switch
-window switch
-interior lights
-alarm
-remote key ( dead )
-door alarm
( did I miss something?! )
Only operating thing is gas tank lid switch ! ( wtf?! )
Nothing is operating on the other door as well.
I have the lights ON on all of the switches when I put the lights ON, fuses are fine and disconnecting the battery did not help. When I put the key in the door and lock, hold for few seconds, the windows roll up, and when I unlock and hold, windows roll down. I am guessing Comfort Module is busted.
Any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch!

I don't know much about it, but I think it's commonly referred to as the CCM. Try that in your searches to see if you get more hits. There's probably a bunch of info on the vortex and scanning it with VCDS might shed some light on your problem.

Thanks for the reply I just spoke with some vw gurus from Niki Motors in Toronto. They played a bit with switches and windows and decided nothing is busted. All the parts are functioning as they should be but there is still no lights and alarm and stuff. They suggested that I should open door panels again and check connections and wires for lose contact or broken wire, which I will do tonight.
I'll be back with results tomorrow
Cheers

Checked everything and couldn't find not even one mistake I did a good job putting them panels back together . Finally,I decided to check all the fuses again, but this time using proper tools and not only visual inspection and .... Fuse number 14 ( comfort lights - 10Amps )was blown but I couldn't see it until I connected it to Ohm meter. Problem solved
