Default Temp display is blank

The time works, but the temp display is blank.

"It will show the letter "F" when first started, but then it goes completely blank.

Changing it to Celcius results in the same blank display.

Any ideas?

there is a temp sensor attached to the front bumper. its closer to the drivers side and right above the grill. kinda oposite to the tow hook. check to make sure that is plugged in all the way. sometimes they get messed up if you scrape your grill alot or if it comes out alot.

My display went out years ago when I killed my battery. I ended up having to remove the rearview mirror, unplug the electrical connector to the display for about 30 seconds, then when I plugged it back in the temp came back on. After you pop down the part with the clock and thermometer you have to pull really hard to get the mirror out, and it's a pain to get back up there, but it should fix it for you.

In some cases you might not have to remove the mirror, just unclip the clock/thermometer housing to access the wiring plug.
