Sorry if this has been answered, but I can't find the exact answer to my question.
I need to replace the antenna base (wife closed garage while backing out!). I have read on these forums that I need to drop the headliner down in the back while the hatch is open so I can remove the nut on the base. My question is pretty simple -- the headliner is secured by a big piece of plastic trim. I can't seem to figure out how to remove this trim and have already broken one of the snaps/clips off underneath. It APPEARS that the trim needs to be pulled down about 1/2" and then slid to the left or right, but it doesn't seem to budge. The snaps/clips appear to be a "B"-type clip where something sticks into it and holds it in place. However, this is where the plastic on the trim broke off because I thought it would pull out of the "B"-clip. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! |
