Default Panic! My car seems to be slowly falling apart!

Ok-- so this is my situation, Im hoping someone can help me out!

On Friday this week I started my car, all was fine. I went to an appointment with a client and when we got back, my alarm system would not work, my windows would not move (including my sunroof) and my interior lights will not work.

Though this has certainly been an inconveneince, things got worse today.

I was driving home from the store in a rain storm and my wipers stopped moving...

Are all of these related? Can anyone give me any advice or point me in a right direction?

I appreciate any advice as I work for a non profit, and money is not exactly streaming in. My Fiance is extremely handy with cars and can fix almost anything. Im hoping this is something that is fixable without extreme dealer charges.

Thanks all!

These things can happen when the ignition switch starts to crap out.

Nope. The ignition switch will mess with headlights, HVAC and turn signals. It doesn't affect the things the OP discussed.

Start with the fuses. If they are good, we can go from there.

What about the panel on top of the battery? Does it look sizzled at all?

I fixed the wipers, they were just disconnected, but all the other problems still exist.

I am going to attempt to look at the battery panel, and I looking for a certain thing?
