Driver Side Air Bag
Where does the air bag deploy from when it comes out of the seat? The side upholstery and the seating surface separated down toward the seat bottom. Before I restitch it, I want to make sure that the heavier thread I need to use will not interfere with the air bag if that is where is deploys from.
I think it comes out from the air bag symbol higher up on the seat. Does anyone know for sure. Please advise, you can email me at mbrbemt@aol.com. Thanks. -Mike

Just feel the airbag out. It will deploy in the lower half of the seat, the bolstered area.
Could always check with a local upholstery shop...
