Default Rebuild calipers?

Is it possible to rebuild calipers for these cars?

I just bought a full set of calipers (used). They are a bit rough because they have been sitting, but not terrible. I plan on tearing them apart to have them powder coated anyway. Is it possible to rebuild them so they are as good as new? I'm not sure what all goes into rebuilding, but I was curious if it was possible to even get the parts. Is it labor intensive? Like I said, I have to remove all rubber and anything that can burn from the calipers anyway before it can be powder coated.

Any information is great! Can't wait to have this done!

I'm pretty sure VW wouldn't sell you the rubber seals and parts seperately.

But maybe a local parts store or body shop can get the components you need to rebuild them. I don't know if they can do anything about the piston & sleeve themselves; but maybe get you new rubber parts.

Heck, maybe the rubber parts from yours could swap over .. if they're in better condition.

Hadn't thought of that....swapping the rubber over....might consider. I guess I'll google and see what I can find
