i don't know how to check my coolant,
or even where its located =(
all i know how to do is check my oil....
&& i'm pretty sure i need coolant......
help?

Looking at the front of the car, it will be on your left by the windshield (passenger side), a clear bulbous tank with a blue lid. As long as it's between MIN and MAX when cool, golden.

The fluid inside the tank should also be pink.

If you need to top up get some G12 coolant from a VW dealer.

Unless the coolant isn't pink! Do not mix coolants! If your coolant is pink and you need to top up, then yes, get some G12.
