Default OEM vs aftermarket foglight

Hello guys.. recently my fog light broke (yay /sarcasm). Ive been trying to find a replacement but Ive noticed that the aftermarkets are significantly cheaper and was thinking about buying it.

However, before buying it I wanted to ask those who own an aftermarket unit, is the lighting different? Is the install the same as an OEM. I will only be replacing one of the lights and don't want them to look like they are not matching pairs, which is why I ask.

I guess no one has any experience using both, but it was worth a shot. Im sure the light output will be the same since its dependent on the bulbs you use. Im going to grab one of these off of ebay, I will let you guys know

I DO have experience with the cheapo fog lights, and head lights. Short answer, STAY AWAY.

The aftermarket fog lights the insurance company put on my car after my first accident were horrible. I mean, thy worked, but they had condensation in them from day 1 and the refectors started rusting in no time. I saved up the $300 and bought OEM ones myself after i got tired of looking at them, well i also hit a huge snow back, ruined my front grill and fog mounts. but i went OEM damn it.

And the Aftermarket headlight, the lens fell off so fast it wasn't even funny, yeah i know some people have that problem with the factory ones too... but i mean it only took months for hte glue to start separating. I never fully replaced it, but i did replace the lens and outer reflector assembly with a oem one eventually too. I had borrowed time on that one because my bra kept the lens in place.
