I actually use the Bentley Publishers CD/DVD, it is a bit pricey, but for any DIY'er it is a must have.

The pictures are also easier to read when you plug your laptop up to the fifty inch plasma TV.

LOL sounds like Matt. He's got a 36 inch computer monitor/tv. I LOVE it!!!

The dealer charging $960 is not terrible. I had quotes that were $1,200 and $1,450!!! At the dealer!

Also, just call around, all places are different, and big citys tend to charge a little more...Is there another state near you that you aren't too far from the border of? Sometimes it's worth the drive to get it done right.

You could also head over to the VWVortex regional forums and see if there is a mechanic others around you go to. Asking around here and there, as well as any local VW forums you may have can help.
