Auto Industry Warns Against Ethanol (E15) Fuel Waiver | Quality Digest

Oh boy, I can hardly wait for E15, or 15% ethanol fuel.
Wonder how low they can make our mpg, and everything else?

Just a thought. Is this ignorance on the part of the US government (not), or are they eventually trying to destroy all existing cars? E10 is bad enough.

I have no objections to ethanol; however I have spoken to VW and E10 is as high as you can go for an NB.

My opinion is this, I simply want a fuel supply so I can drive my NB till it or I cannot drive anymore. I'm willing to do whatever it takes within reason. So for all those car and fuel manufactures out there, how about dropping that teenager mentality (I can't do it, because.) and tell us how you are working the problem instead. Using a productive approach.

In my area the Phillips stations sell no-ethanol fuel -- for about 10 cents per gallon more than other stations selling E10. I go out of my way to buy it, and based on how crowded the stations are, so do a lot of other people.

I got an idea why don't the politicians get the hell out of our lives and let us choose for ourselves what we want to buy? Freedom? Liberty? Such out-dated concepts. Just my 2 cents.

I wish that option was available for me; I'd gladly pay the dime. My mpg immediately went down about 10% with E10, so what's the point? If we're truly concerned about foreign oil dependency, then why not just tap into our own oil reserves?
