Default Is there a VIN # cross check ?

I purchased a 2004 TDI manual 5 speed beetle last week. The car came with only 1 key and no owners manual. Im trying to figure out what all my car has on it and how everything works. Is there way way to use the VIN# to find out ?

a few quick questions ? What is the ESP button for ?

Is there a setting for the headlights to automaticly turn on and off ?

How do I turn on the fog lights ?

Traction control how do i know if my car has it ? Is there a switch or button ?

Thanks, for all your help thus far =)

Go Here... put in your VIN and ask your questions. Takes about 2-3 days for an answer and it is free.

It's the traction control.

No, but when you turn the car off, the headlights turn off, but the side markers stay on.

How do I turn on the fog lights ?
After you turn the headlights on, pull the switch out toward you.

See question 1.

Thanks, for all your help thus far =)

I hope this was easier than trying to read those charts.
