Default Help - drivers side window/mirrors/lock switch issues

Apologies for asking something that's most likely been covered... I did try the search function but didn't find all of the answers I needed.

Took my '00 into the dealership because the window, mirror and lock controls on the drivers door no longer function. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a bad wiring harness and possibly gas cover/window switches. I've seen the photos which describe how to get the door panel off and think I can do the wiring harness myself.

My question is whether or not the window and gas cover release switch use the $3.00 micro switch that I see mentioned. If so if someone can share the manufacturer and part number with me I'll get three of them ordered and take care of them as well.

Thanks in advance!

I don't believe they do. That switch is what tells the car if the door is open or closed.

Thanks. Sounds like a couple of $50.00 windows switch purchases are in my future then... Sigh...
