Default brake pad light

recently my light on the cluster came on which i guess says my brake pads are getting thin.

How can i tell if its the front or rear pads ??? Is there a way to reset the light ? I looked thru the wheels and the pads look fine...

It would be the front pads. They are the only pads that have a sensor. The rears don't have one.

The sensor is on the front driver's side inner pad. The front inners typically wear faster than the front outers. There is another possibility though--the sensor wire is broken or shorted--an open circuit is what turns on the warning light.
