Default lights,lights,ligh...teh,no illumination.???

Just a quickie for you guys...

Done...jk

Okay,my problem is that my heat\Ac controls don't illuminate when I switch on the headlamps. All fuses are good, everything else lights up as they should.

The heat\Ac controls are just a big dark space between the radio and bun steamers\defroster\hazard controls...I'm stumped as to why the knobs aren't lighting up,like, none of 'em....Please,advise,hints,ect are greatly appreciated.

And yes,i tend to be anal about these little gremlins

The bulb is out . Change it. Believe it or not, ALL of that is lit by one singe bulb.

Here is a link to replacing the bulb. Its quite simple actually.

(I used a jar opener gripper) You need a piece of plastic tubing to pull the bulb straight out. I got 1/4 inch diameter vinyl tubing from menards($1). Push the tubing over the bulb then pull out. Bring it to the dealer and they'll know exactly which one to give you. They gave me one free The new bulb just gets pushed in with the tubing. Then put the control knob back in and you're good to go Good luck. If I can do it anybody can.
Hope this helps!
