Default Thanks Guys

Thanks Guys, I just had such a time searching the forums combined with a sketchy internet connection that I thought it might help others as well.

To All,
If there are other Important or Frequently Visited Links that I am not yet familiar with, please group them together and add them to this thread so we can try to keep this a Links Only thread as much as possible.

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

Default Third Party Vag-Com

I bought a cheap reader off of eBay and downloaded the free software off of Ross-Tech's website and am going to try my hand at diagnosing this cooling system malfunction code (2181).

I thought replacing the non-functioning fan was going to solve the problem. Maybe it reset or maybe disconnecting the battery didn't clear it properly.

Now I'm thinkin' I should buy a VAG-Com BEFORE i buy my Beetle ... so I can pull the codes BEFORE i buy. Anyone else do this? Thanks, George!

Right now I'm thinking a $349 Enthusiast model.
