Default Rear seat cigarette lighter receptacle?

On my 05 NBC the rear seat lighter door (back of the console) won't stay closed. If I can't keep it closed (suggestions?) then I'm looking for a dummy plug to put in the receptacle. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!

Same here concerning the "won't stay closed" lighter door. Someone a while back said something about adjusting the spring. Any help there? Thanks...

P.S. I already have a LED flashlight I purchased from Bugstuff. I like it.

I have the same problem. I went to the dealer one time for another problem and they said that it was an issue and that there is a replacement for it but not cheap. i don't know the price, but it includes replacing the console/armrest.

Later...

Thats what I know about it.

I was given a quote of a cool $128 for a fix by the dealer...I didn't bite.
