Default keyfob double push not opening both doors

2002 NB Turbo S

Key fob just stated not opening the passenger door. Works fine locking and opening drivers door. Push button on drivers door works fine for passenger door. Yup, already changed the fob battery.

Sometimes like your computer mouse, you can double click faster thtn the mechanics can respond. Have you tried slowing down the double push, just a bit?

Oh yes, tried everything I can think of. The key used in the drivers door lock will unlock the passenger door when turned twice. The only thing that does not work is the fob. When you push it two times the locks click and the lights all flash but the door remains locked.

You need to fix/replace the door lock module.

If it is the door lock module then would it also fail when using the key in the drivers door or the unlock button on the drivers door? They all would activate the same lock module.

Default Problem solved

Inadvertently set the alarm by locking the doors before getting out and the keyfob now unlocks the passenger door. No more problem and I can't explain that one.
