Default Fuel Door Switch Replacement

New NB owner.

I know I have a problem with the switch, not the cable and need to check connections or replace it. My question is, do you have to remove the whole door panel to get to the switch or does the surround that holds the trunk and fuel door switches come out the way the window switches do? If so, what's the best way to pry it out?

Thanks in advance.

Nope. The switch just pops in and out. Take a flat head screw driver, stick it under the side of the switch, and twist, and it'll pop right out.

Taking out the old and putting in the new should take about 30 seconds.

Question

Oops,I misread,I though we were talking about the fuel door actuator...

I hope you don't mind op for the jack, but since we're here and you've got your answer...

How do I r&r the actuator? It moves a little bit,but not enough,I've already filed it down, not enough.it makes noise sometimes, but most of the time its dead. .

Once again, sorry for the threadjack. :/
